As well as my poetry-writing for children, I write short stories for grown-ups. In November I'll be on a panel at the Australian Short Story Festival in Fremantle, talking about my flash fiction. Here are some details for the grown-ups!

Panel: 'Out of the Chrysalis' a panel with Rebecca M. Newman, Alison Davis and Isabelle Biondi Saville, moderated by Brooke Dunnell. 

When: 9.30am, Saturday 23 November 2024.

Where: Notre Dame University, Fremantle, Western Australia.

An all-day ticket for Saturday ($30) will get you into all the sessions on Saturday. My panel is at 9.30am.

Meet some of WA’s most well-known children’s book authors and illustrators for a morning packed with activities, including:
• Helping illustrators compete in an interactive illustration duel
• Learning how to draw your favourite book characters
• Peeking behind-the-scenes to find out how these stories come to life
• Meeting and chatting with twelve children’s book authors and illustrators.

Suitable for book-lovers of all ages, but perfect for ages 0-12. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
