I'm really thrilled to let you know that Sally Murphy and I have co-edited a second poetry anthology for children, a companion title to Right Way Down and Other Poems. Published by Fremantle Press, the anthology hit bookshop shelves on April 28, 2026. 

 

If I Could Eat the Stars and Other Poems  features 70 poems by 56 poets, with gorgeous black and white illustrations by Briony Stewart. 

 

And we're having a book launch! If you're in Perth, do join us at the State Library of Western Australia on 16 May. (NB: Children are very welcome, but this particular event isn’t child-focussed.)
